verinice has been developed and continuously expanded by SerNet since 2007. With the current software generation, verinice is completely browser-based: modern web interface, collaborative work, and an architecture designed for professional operation in different environments.

Operating models: Cloud, dedicated hosting, or on-premises
Depending on governance requirements and operating model, there are different ways to use verinice:
- verinice.onprem: Operation in your own data center or at a trusted host – under your administration and with full control over infrastructure and data.
- verinice.cloud: Shared service SaaS with quick start – ready to use immediately – available at https://account.verinice.com.
- Dedicated hosting: A separate, isolated verinice environment offered by SerNet.
